How to use

Upload a square image — a logo, an initial, or a simple icon. Tick the PNG sizes you need and press Generate Favicons. Each size gets its own download link, and the ICO button downloads a favicon.ico file (16 + 32, PNG inside) for browsers that still ask for one. Put the files in your website's root folder and add the link tags shown in the guide.

About the Favicon Generator

The Favicon Generator turns any image into a website favicon: PNG files in six sizes (16, 32, 48, 180, 192 and 512 pixels) plus a favicon.ico file with the 16 and 32 pixel versions inside. You choose the image and the sizes, the files are made in your browser, and each one downloads separately so you only take what you need. It is a plain image tool, not an AI tool — the favicon is your image, resized, with nothing added or changed. Like every tool on this site, it runs entirely in your browser: there is no sign-up, nothing you upload is sent to a server, and it works the same on a phone, tablet or desktop.
